08 Mar 4 Reasons Why Sunday’s “Catch the Vision” will be worth your time!
Whether you are new to membership at Storyline, or you’ve been part of the team for a long time, you may be asking yourself this morning, “What’s the big deal about today’s members’ gathering? Is it really worth my time?”
Here are four reasons why you don’t want to miss our Catch the Vision Members’ Gathering this afternoon:
1. You’ll get an inside scoop on some key information about what’s going on at Storyline.
From the progress on our building plan, to our student pastor search, to our new process for leadership development – you’ll be among the first to know what’s new.
2. You’ll be a part of our first-ever ordination process.
Rob and Katy Simpson have been a key part of our Storyline leadership since the very beginning. Last spring, Rob finished his Master of Divinity degree through Gateway Seminary, and this afternoon Rob will share a bit of his story and our staff pastors will officially ordain him as a minister.
3. You’ll have a chance to ask a question or make a comment about anything in the life of our church.
A priority in each of these quarterly member gatherings is to give our members a chance to be heard. This afternoon every member will have a chance to submit a question or suggestion for Ben and our staff team.
4. You’ll encourage Ben and our Storyline leadership.
When you are a part of these kinds of gatherings, the inner workings of what’s going on at Storyline, it communicates to Ben, our staff pastors, and our other leaders that you care about what’s going on. As a member, you’re not just along for the ride – you are a crucial part of what’s happening right now, and of our vision for the future.
So don’t miss our Catch the Vision Members’ Gathering this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. at Ralston Valley High School. Childcare is provided by reservation only; email your child’s name and age to firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP. We look forward to seeing you there!
