Getting Back into Life Journaling

19 Sep Getting Back into Life Journaling

This past Sunday, I shared about the importance of developing a regular devotional routine. At Storyline, we highly recommend the Life Journaling plan, which will help you “take some truth” along the way, and will build your knowledge of Scripture. If you have never done Life Journaling, do it! 3 days, 5 days, 7 days a week—totally your call. Just pick a plan that feels sustainable and hop in.

Here are the two simple ways to join me in Life Journaling:

  1. The Daily Reading Plan. Hop online here each day and get the reading for the day. You can read the whole amount, or you can choose to focus in on the New Testament only. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. The key is consistency.
  2. The Go-At-Your-Own-Pace Plan. Download your own check-off sheet that helps you trek your progress. This plan is perfect for people who like to be more fluid while also keeping a measure of progress.

David, the man after God’s heart, said: “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11

Get into the word and stay close to the Lord. We all need a plan, or it just doesn’t happen!
