This week’s staff spotlight features two people who LOVE kids and students. Read more about our Children’s Ministry Director and Student Pastor below.

Lynley Mandrell

Lynley Mandrell, Children’s Ministry Director

What do you do for Storyline?

Lynley oversees all of our ministries to families with children (Birth through 6th Grade). She loves working with parents to create a community and build relationships. She also gets a thrill from helping someone find their sweet spot volunteering within the Storyland Kids ministry. “I really love when someone tries different roles and lands on one where they thrive according to their unique gifting!”

What do you do for Fun?

Lynley loves to be outside—walking, hiking, playing tennis, sitting by a pool and even eating dinner with her family. And she has a new love…MANICURES!

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

When she was in High School, Lynley once marched in a U.S. Presidential Inaugural Parade. We won’t mention which president, but she is from Arkansas!

Favorite Candy Bar:

“Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups…of course!”

Seth Hubler

Seth Hubler, Student Pastor

What do you do for Storyline?

Seth leads our Student Ministry (7th-12th grades). He gets to spend time with students around campfires, go to ballgames and play Fortnite—all so that he can build relationships with teens and share the good news of Jesus with them! Along with his volunteer team, he plans events, hosts our Wednesday night Basecamp gathering and walks alongside our students through the challenges they face.

What do you do for fun?

Seth loves woodworking, playing disc golf and spending time outdoors with his wife, Anna.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

In his spare time, Seth loves to watch chess strategy videos on Youtube.

Favorite Candy Bar:

“By far, the Reese’s Nutrageous bar. It’s heavenly!”
