Top Serving Needs for January 2018

We want each person at Storyline to find a place where they can use their talents and interests to serve God. Below we’ve included a list of volunteer positions we are looking to fill. If you’d like to step into one of these roles, send an email to: serve@storylinefellowship.com

Male Student Small Group Leaders*:

Our student ministry continues to grow! We are looking for a few good men who are willing to co-lead 7th-12th grade guys’ small groups. Leaders are expected to facilitate a small group time as part of our Wednesday night Basecamp program, as well as build mentoring relationships with students.

Tech & A/V Team Members:

Our Sunday services require a large team of volunteers each week. Several positions are available on this team, and training will be provided. If you’re interested in running sound, lighting or video, or if you are willing to serve as a stagehand, this might be the team for you!

Baptism Team:

Serving on this team gives you the rewarding opportunity to witness baptism up-close! We need volunteers who will help prepare the water, organize participants and assist with clean up following the service.

Security Team*:

Safety is a top priority. Security Team volunteers will be trained by the off-duty and retired police personnel that attend Storyline to make sure our foyer, entryways and children’s hallways are safe.

Sunday Morning Ushers:

Ushers wear many hats! From helping guests find a seat, to passing the offering basket and distributing Communion, we need smiling faces (men and women) who can serve as Sunday morning ushers in either service.

In-Room Greeters:

Are you the kind of person who has never met a stranger? We’re looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers who are willing to seek out guests before the service to make them feel welcome in the auditorium.

Father Daughter Banquet Servers:

This special annual event is coming up on February 23 and 24! We need 3+ volunteers each night who are willing to refill drinks, keep an eye on the buffet and contribute to the “fancy” feel of this banquet.

Kids Ministry Special Ops:

A few times a year, we need help with some top-secret projects to bless our Kids Ministry volunteer team. If you are creative and like to make others feel special, this could be the role for you.

Photography Team:

Got a creative eye and a digital camera? We’d love some help capturing memories at special events and on Sunday mornings.
