Kids' Service Project

November 11, 2015 @ 3:45 pm - 6:00 pm

Each month, we’ll discover creative ways for kids (kindergarten – 6th grade) to share the love of Christ in the community. This is a 90 minute event (30 minutes of fun/food, 30 minutes of service, and 30 minutes of games).

This month, we will be learning about the Ronald McDonald Foundation and making ornament crafts to give as gifts to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

Kindergarten-2nd Grades will meet at the Depot at Five parks from 4-5 p.m.

3rd-6th Grades will have the opportunity to visit the Ronald McDonald House and serve the families there by creating Christmas crafts together, providing a snack, and cleaning the house for the parents. We will carpool from the Depot at Five Parks at 3:45 p.m. Only 25 kids may visit the Ronald McDonald House; other children will be able to assist the younger kids with the craft at the Depot. It is important to RSVP online by Nov. 9th as these 25 spots are first come, first served.

We would also love to offer assistance to these families in the form of $15-20 gift cards to Target and Subway. If you would consider donating a gift card, it would be a huge help! Totally optional, totally appreciated!
