Our Values

The Foundation We Stand On

Find your place in God’s story of grace and redemption.

At Storyline Fellowship , we strive to create a “quick to listen, slow to speak” culture, giving people the room and space to consider the claims of Christianity. In love, God assigned each of us a part in His grand theatre. When we find our place in His story, we find peace, joy, and life abundant.

“And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for ‘In him we live and move and have our being.'” (Acts 17:26-28a ESV)

Biblical Depth

biblical depth

We teach the Bible because it changes our lives.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17, ESV)

We want to be the kind of people who study what the Bible says and then actually apply it to our day-to-day lives.

Here are some ways we do that:

» Weekly sermons that walk through a specific passage of the Bible, explaining how to apply it
» Guided discussions in our Home Groups that follow along with the weekly message
» Intentional Bible-based curriculum for children and students (Birth – 12th Grade)

Spiritual Exploration

We offer a safe place to ask the tough questions.

“I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24, ESV)
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, ESV)

We welcome both believers and skeptics into our church. We believe when we boldly address the tough questions, true growth can occur. If you’re not quite sure about Christianity, we are glad you’re here! We know you may still leave with questions, but we hope as you encounter the Bible at Storyline your faith will grow.

Good next steps:

» Submit a question using our contact form.
» Consider grabbing coffee with a leader from Storyline! We’d love to chat with you one-on-one.

Spiritual Exploration
Genuine Relationships

Genuine Relationships

We create spaces for meaningful connections.

“Encourage one another and build each other up.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11, NIV)

We believe life is lived best in circles, not just rows. The people you interact with have a lasting impact on who you are. We can’t build relationships for you, but we can provide opportunities for you to connect with others on a regular basis.

We do that through:

» Discussion-based Home Groups
» Serve teams where you can get to know other volunteers
» Events for men, women, & families throughout the year

Neighborhood Impact

We seek to know and love our literal neighbors.

“For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Galatians 5:14, NIV)

Jesus taught that loving God and loving our neighbors are the two greatest commandments. We think that includes our literal next-door neighbors! We want to be the kindest people on the block, showing Jesus’s love to our community.

Here are a few ideas:

» Share a meal or coffee with your neighbors.
» Help with a chore—yardwork, cleaning, babysitting!
» Invite them to visit Storyline with you.

Leadership Development

Leadership Development

We challenge one another to take the next step.

“Whoever would be great among you must be your servant.” (Matthew 20:26, ESV)

To us, leadership means rolling up your sleeves and serving. Whether you prefer working with your hands, being in front of people, or helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you.

At Storyline, this looks like:

» Dozens of easy-to-join serve teams—finding creative ways for everyone to plug in
» Opportunities to have an impact locally and globally through missions
» A residency program for training new church leaders

Our goal is to equip the saints
for works of service, helping
people find their spiritual gifts
and share them with others.
