Storyline Kids
Do you love helping children learn to know and love Jesus? We are always in need of wonderful volunteers who are ready to serve the Next Generation.

Our Nursery Classroom Leaders are outgoing, friendly, and welcoming. They will greet children and parents as they arrive and take attendance. You will thrive in this volunteer role if you have a high level of comfort with babies and toddlers.

Our preschool leaders greet parents and children at drop off and check security tags at pick up. They guide children in gospel conversations, small group activities, and crafts. As a leader in this area you will thrive if you enjoy worshiping alongside the kids!

A Buddy is a friend who attends Storyline alongside a person with special needs. They provide care, assistance, and encouragement as needed with warmth, enthusiasm, and flexibility. They are able to develop an ongoing relationship with both the person of need and their family.

Our hospitality team works to make Sunday mornings run smoothly! They create a welcoming environment for first time guests and our members. You will thrive in this role if you are outgoing and warm!

There are many ways you can serve Storyline Kids during the week! Duties range from copying, cleaning, event set up, and organizing. We would be grateful for any capacity of help!

As a 6th-12th grade student, you can begin serving at Storyline! Most of our students serve regularly on Sunday morning with Storyline Kids. We ask that students attend one service and serve one service. Some service areas may require a parent/adult to serve with you.

Storyline Students
Who did you need when you were a teenager? Our Middle School & High School ministries are the perfect blend of fun and discipleship.

Small group leaders are the heartbeat of the student ministry. The role of the small group leader is to engage with students on Sunday nights, lead them in small group discussion time, and be a safe adult for students to talk with. There are 2-3 small group leaders per group (and each group is divided out by grade and gender). Small group leaders are also asked to attend our major events with their students (ie: Winter Retreat). We also have small group leaders who lead weekly Bible study groups for both our guys and girls studies on Monday and Thursday nights (respectively).

Our welcome and hype team are essential for our Sunday night gatherings to run smoothly. This team will check-in and welcome students, helping them feel comfortable and introducing them to their small group leaders. This team will also lead, plan, and execute games and activities for students regularly as part of our nightly programming. There will also be opportunities to serve by praying for specific students, leaders, and small groups throughout the night.

Greeters at Storyline know how to have fun! They are a part of our overall Hospitality Team - a group of people gifted by God to create a warm and welcoming environment for the people of Storyline Church. From opening a door to fist bumping with kids, this team takes on a posture of helpfulness, whatever the need.

Ushers at Storyline are men, women and students who enjoy conversation with others and help people find a seat. They are a part of our overall Hospitality Team - a group of people gifted by God to create a warm and welcoming environment for the people of Storyline Church.

Join the most caffeinated team at Storyline Church (coffee drinking not actually required) as we serve over 30,000 cups of great coffee per year! The coffee team is part of our overall Hospitality Team – people gifted by God to help us create a warm and welcoming environment for all.

The primary purpose of the Resource Center is to connect people to Gospel-centered resources. In addition, people can take their next step by signing up for Storyline Church events with our volunteer team. (Do we know how often people sign up to serve at the resource center?) We desire a volunteer team who love and care for the people they serve, which may include engaging in deep conversations, listening, and praying with the people we serve.

We are looking to grow our team that keeps Storyline Church safe on Sundays and other church events throughout the week. You’ll be a great fit for this team if you have experience in security, law enforcement, or military service. This person will work with the Facilities Manager and the Medical team to ensure the safety of our church and those that attend.

We are looking to grow our medical team that keeps Storyline Church safe on Sundays and other church events throughout the week.
You’ll be a great fit for this team if you’re trained in medical care and are able to provide help in a variety of situations. They will partner with the Facilities Manager and the Security team to help create a safe environment for our church.

Our aim for the Prayer Team is to meet the needs of people who are in need of prayer during our Sunday morning gathering. We will have a dedicated time in our gathering where we direct our congregation to this team for things such as prayer, spiritual conversations, and maybe even next steps in someone’s faith. If you feel like you would love to walk alongside someone and care for our church in this way, we would love for you to express your interest.

Do you have a heart for community and a passion for seeing others live for Jesus? Leading a Home Group provides an opportunity for 10-16 people to come alongside each other, do life together, and discuss the Bible.

Do you want to help other men study the Bible and know Jesus better? As a table leader, you can provide a culture where learning happens, men feel connected, and Jesus is worshiped.

Do you want to help other women study the Bible, know Jesus better, and grow deeper in relationships with other women? As a table leader, you help facilitate discussion around your Bible study table, help women get connected with each other, and help pray for and care for the women at your table.

Tech & Worship
If you love to worship or help facilitate the production of worship, consider joining our volunteer rotation team! There are many opportunities to serve on Sundays or throughout the week in different environments.

As a worship team volunteer, you will help facilitate the singing of the saints at Storyline Church on a weekly basis. Our aim is to point people to who God is, who we are, what Christ has done, and what that means for our life. Practically, this looks like using the gifts God has given us as tools for encouragement and edification.

We are looking to grow our Worship Choir that helps facilitate the singing of the saints at Storyline Church on a weekly basis. You don't have to audition to be a part of our Worship Choir. You can come as you are!

This volunteer is in charge of operating the front of house sound board to control the mix for our in-person worship gatherings.
This role includes a great onboarding experience with tons of training and equipping. This role can serve as a FOH engineer in the Worship Center, Students, and in Storyline Kids.
Requirements: Training & Safety Trainings. This role requires past experience or a long on-boarding process.

This role is the maestro of the Sunday gathering, making sure all pieces of the puzzle are in place; graphics are checked, mics are placed, transitions are handled, etc.

We have a few amazing volunteers who can take a design and implement it, but we’re looking for someone who might help us mock up/layout pages in Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Photoshop for the dev volunteers to then build out on the actual website.

We love it when creatives can use their skills to glorify God and serve their church family. Are you skilled at hand lettering? Oil painting? Floral arrangements? Anything? We want to know!
